Intumescent wraps
Intumescent tapes and wraps are made on the basis of graphite. They are used to seal service penetrations. Tapes and wraps seal plastic pipes (with or without insulation), cable bundles and insulated metal pipes penetrating through walls and floors. Intumescent tape should be wrapped around the pipe or cable bundle. If necessary, the tape should be cut to the required length (equal to or greater than the external diameter of the pipe). The tape should be placed inside the partition.
